Shanghai - Suzhou
Activities: Tiger Hill, Lingering Garden, the First Silk Factory, Shan Tang Old street Meals: Chinese Lunch Transportation: Bus Your local guide will pick you up at the hotel and accompany you to Suzhou. After arrival you will visit the Tiger Hill (about 1.5 hours). This 36 meter tall hill is famous because of a legend that states this is where the King of the State of Wu, Fu Chai, buried his father, Helu, with 3,000 swords. According to legend, on the third day after the burial, a white tiger appeared to guard the tomb, giving the hill its current name.
After a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, the group will proceed to Lingering Garden (about 1 hour), one of the four famous gardens of Suzhou. First built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the current garden was rebuilt by a Qing Dynasty official.
The group will then proceed to the First Silk Factory (about 45 minutes), where you will have a chance to discover the secrets of silk-weaving and shop for souvenirs.
With a history of 800 years, ShanTang Old Street (about 1 hour) is one of the oldest streets in Suzhou. It is famous for its well-preserved road, stone arched bridges, water ways, white walls and black roofs.
After checking in to your hotel, your local guide will suggest a restaurant option and shopping destination for the rest of the day.

| Day 2 |
Suzhou - Wuzhen - Hangzhou
Activities: Wuzhen Water Villiage: Jiangnan Hundred Beds Museum, Folk Custom Museum, Sanbai Wine Workshop, Foliage Dyeing Workshop, Woodcarving Museum, Shadow Play. Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch Transportation: Bus After breakfast your local guide will accompany you to Wuzhen Water Village (about 3 hours). This small town, with its black-tiled and timber framework houses, white walls and gray flagging, is a perfect vision of classic China, and an unforgettable experience for travelers.
Wuzhen's most highly-regarded attraction must be the Hundred Beds Museum: the first museum in China to collect and exhibit ancient beds of the Jiangnan region. It holds dozens of examples of finely crafted beds from the Ming and Qing dynasties to modern times. With exquisite design and workmanship, these are more than items of furniture, but excellently-preserved examples of Chinese folk art.
Next the group will the visit the Folk Custom Museum. This museum displays artifacts used in festivals and celebrations by local people over the centuries.
Then at the group will move on to Sanbai Wine Workshop. This is one of the areas most famous breweries, dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Here you will have a chance to learn about – and taste – one of the world’s finest rice wines.
After a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, you can explore the village’s other attractions: the Foliage Dyeing Workshop, Woodcarving Museum and Shadow Puppet Show.
Travel to Hangzhou.

| Day 3 |
Hangzhou - Shanghai
Activities: West Lake sightseeing and cruise, Fei Lai Feng (Peak Flown From Afar), Meijiawu Tea Plantation (Longjing Tea Fields) Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch Transportation: Bus After breakfast, your local guide will pick you up at the hotel and accompany you to the West Lake (about 2 hours), the jewel of Hangzhou, where you will enjoy a boat cruise. The lake is surrounded by hills on three sides and faces downtown Hangzhou on the fourth side. There are two causeways, Bai and Su, which separate the lake into five parts. The lake also has three manmade islands: Three Pools Mirroring the moon, Mid-lake Pavilion, and Mr. Ruan Yuan's Mount.
After returning to shore, proceed to visit Fei Lai Feng (Peak Flown From Afar) (about 1 hour), It is an ancient grotto art treasure, rarely seen in Yangtze South. In the caves and cliffs of peak, there are more than 470 stone statuses from Five Dynasties Period (907A.D. -960A.D.) to Yuan Dynasty.
Next stop is the Meijiawu Tea Plantation (about 45 minutes). Located just outside the city in the West Lake scenic area, the Meijiawu Tea Plantation is famous for its Dragon Well Green Tea (Longjing tea). Sit back and sample some of the finest tea in China, surrounded by picturesque terraced tea fields and rustic rural scenes.
Return to Shanghai.
